Fisher in the Log

I was expecting some activity further down the log (which I did get later on), and thus had directed my lighting to this area. This Fisher decided to change it up and I got a few shots of him zipping around and into the log but Would have liked to focused the light on the log opening next time.

Fisher pauses to smell and look

This fisher (Martes pennanti) paused in front of the camera to observe a visual attractor above the camera and to leave his calling card. Even some of the smallest mammals show a curiosity in things such as a visual attractor that they know don't belong in the woods.
